What happens when two St. Louis mom-owned companies come together for the Power of ONE? You end up with a fantastic partnership — and a way to raise money all year long for an amazing cause!
Who: My Mommy Manual and Artistic Sensations have come together to support and raise funds and awareness for Parents as Teachers through an ongoing raffle at www.mymommymanual.com called the “Power of One.”
As St. Louis-based organizations, both My Mommy Manual and Artistic Sensations believe in keeping a strong tie to the local community. Parents as Teachers’s mission is in perfect alignment with the My Mommy Manual mission of connection, empowerment, and growth.
What: The Power of One is a fundraising program started by My Mommy Manual to create an innovative way to continue giving all year long.
Why: We’ve named this program “Power of ONE” because we strongly believe that ONE person can make a difference, that ONE great parent can change the world by being a positive influence in a child’s life. It takes ONE person to believe, ONE person to empower an entire community, ONE dollar to be part of change.
When: Starting this July and each month through 2009, My Mommy Manual will feature products from its corporate partners as a raffle prize, averaging $50 in value.
How: For just ONE DOLLAR, you can buy a raffle ticket on MyMommyManual.com to be entered to win that month’s prize. All proceeds will go to support Parents as Teachers. July’s product, a Toddler Nap/Sleeping Sack is perfect for on the go kids to use at day camp or trips this summer.
