Life’s Little Happy Moments
There is nothing better in life than lying on the floor with our animals and taking in all of their love. Our lives are so hurried these days with running from the gym to the grocery store, to the boys sporting events and practices, to working and running from here to there. Whoa. Just naming all of that makes me tired. Did I mention running an online business too? So cram checking my computer in there a dozen times a day also.
So every day at the end of each crazy day, I try to get on the floor and do some stretches with my two faithful Labradors each lying by my side. One of them usually puts his paw on my leg while I stretch and wags his tail. Sometimes he talks to me in his moaning language and let’s me know how happy he is for his daily rub before he goes to bed. The other one is right there beside me too and so I take my foot and rub his back as he flips upside down.
Our animals give us unconditional love and I am grateful that they are in my life. They force me to take a deep breath and unwind from the day and remind me of life’s simple blessings. What are your simple blessings?
